4CxbqFxVnstmA Veteran Posted December 21, 2008 Veteran Share Posted December 21, 2008 I think some while back I asked if someone could do an Ubuntu-friendly Neowin theme. I know this was asking a lot and that there was Shift to consider. But now I'm using the Darkroom theme from Ubuntu (with a mega cool desktop wall) and I see now that Google have the 'Sunset' theme for GMail to accommodate me. Will someone there at Neowin step forward and do the Ubuntu colours? You KNOW it would rule! :D
rson451
Are you talking about a forum theme? If so, just use the stylish firefox extension and make your own. Making a forum them to match linux would be -- in all honesty -- stupid. Linux has too many faces.
4CxbqFxVnstmA Veteran Posted December 22, 2008 Author Veteran Share Posted December 22, 2008 I was thinking of a coloured theme for Neowin itself. Or maybe the ability to choose the colour scheme from a palette or something. It was just a wish I had, not essential :D
Simon Veteran Posted December 22, 2008 Veteran Share Posted December 22, 2008 It's a lot easier for us to manage the one color we have with Finity right now. It means new features get pushed out more quickly, and look more customized for a certain theme. So we won't be doing any new colors for Finity in the near future.
