Srugie Veteran Posted December 31, 2008 Veteran Share Posted December 31, 2008 You could actually get a mac looking menubar to put on the top.
WoodroweBones
Yeah its SP2 beta. I realize its not a Mac replica (I did it in like 15 minutes). My desktop was getting cluttered and I made a folder to hold a bunch of my rarely used application icons and I realized that the Mac essentially forces this and is why it looks much cleaner than Windows... so I ran with it and grabbed a dock (used them before) and rearranged my folders so that accessing stuff is almost the same as using a Mac. The menu bar is at the top in auto-hide and does not come over top of other windows (so its basically never seen). My running apps show in the dock so I can operate most of the time without the need for a menu bar. I was looking at options for recreating the mac menubar on the top but didnt find anything that suited me
