haefft
Okay I just sent in my 2 hard disk drives back to the manufacturer for replacements so I have no backup drive to put in and need a linux live cd thats only function is to surf the web. Anyone know I any distributions that will do this. I really don't need a full on operating system ie ubuntu or fedora since I just want to be able to boot up my machine and surf. Zickar
gOS Cloud: fro Zero to Web Browser in just a few seconds The link I gave you is to an article I read a few days ago but never thought I would need again, thank god I was able to find it again in my reader :D The gOS cloud is a Ubuntu based Distro that has been stripped down to serve web fanatics, when it loads the first screen it will load is your Web browser instead of The Desktop and focuses on integration with web apps .. It has a dock OS-X look and I think it might be something you could look into
