GreenInspiration
So I posted this at the author forum and no reply yet. Basically, I was able to put ubuntu 8.10 on my usb as a liveusb using unetbootin but when it boots i see the unetbootin screen. There was default, help, oem and a time count down to 0 but it just refreshes the page when it got to 0 and start over again. It doesn't go anywhere when i press any of the hilights either. So anyone got any ideas please tell me. Thanks Edited January 3, 2009 by Barney

markwolfe Veteran Posted January 3, 2009 Veteran Share Posted January 3, 2009 Without any detailed information, it sounds like it sees the GRUB boot info on the stick, but your MBR (or possibly menu.lst file) are pointing to a location where it expects the rest of your GRUB boot code... And it's not there.

GreenInspiration
Thanks for the replies. I think it is a download corruption. This is a liveusb that I want to make.
