Unetbootin help

Recommended Posts

So I posted this at the author forum and no reply yet. Basically, I was able to put ubuntu 8.10 on my usb as a liveusb using unetbootin but when it boots i see the unetbootin screen. There was default, help, oem and a time count down to 0 but it just refreshes the page when it got to 0 and start over again. It doesn't go anywhere when i press any of the hilights either. So anyone got any ideas please tell me. Thanks

Without any detailed information, it sounds like it sees the GRUB boot info on the stick, but your MBR (or possibly menu.lst file) are pointing to a location where it expects the rest of your GRUB boot code...

And it's not there.

I thought that 8.10 had it already built in on installing itself on a USB drive?
