Suzuki car ultra-modded with XBOX 360

The real question should be... WHY?

"Because we can" is getting ridiculous.

Because you can't.

Ooooooold news, plus many more pictures:

2006

But it's still very cool. I remember this being posted ages ago somewhere and so many comments about the fact it would overheat in that enclosed space etc. The thing that strikes me is that you should NEVER move the xbox whilst it has a spinning disc inside, lest your disc be scratched!

so is the controller on the driver side equipped with an airbag? :p

what would be really cool (*cough*and dangerous*cough*) would be if a holographic system could make the driver see the cars on the motorway look like in-game cars. It would take racing games to an entirely new level! lol

Are. You. Serious.

I'm quite torn between thinking "geekishly cool" and "what were they THINKING?"

I'd be half-tempted to get my Legacy modded with a game console but I don't know if there's a console out there that just screams "Subaru." I could see modding a white VW Beetle with a Wii, and something flashy like a Lambo with a PS3. Dunno that the Xbox is quite suited to a Suzuki, but whatever.

Ahh that makes more sense.

It's more of a marketing stunt than some random putting a 360 in his/her car for "practical" reasons. With one swoop you invalidate half the posts in this topic

Very polished job!

@Morf

I was thinking if he could use the thumb sticks to control the car :p

That I'd like to see and not impossible or completely out of the question either!

Not impossible. but compeltely out of the question, at least here it's not legal to control cars via electronics, steering and gas/brake has to be direct, or semi direct, unless you're handicapped. And even so, wireless would probably be double out of the question :)

OH SNAP! I got a great idea!

it would be awesome to control the car via the 360 controller over a cell-network. That way when teenagers don't want to come home, parents can remote-control the car back to the house

If Top Gear got away with, I'm sure others could as well. Although they used a radio transmitter.

I don't mean to drive on the road btw, I just mean as an experiment and on tracks :p
