iwod
I have tried every Realtek Driver and the even the newest unavalible RealTeak Driver from Windows Update itself. Yet this process still runs at 100% most of the time. Which continue to slow down my machine. Anyway can help? Windows 7 is good so far and i dont want to give it up just because of the Sound system. IsaacD
Quick but dirty fix: Go into Control Panel, then Administrative Options, go to Services and find the 2 Audio Services (Audiodg and Audio Service) and stop and disable both of those, then reboot your computer, and go back into services once your Desktop is loaded and start the services but leave it on "Manual". You'll have to do this (restart the services) on each reboot, it's an annoyance but it works.
1for-matik
No problem here, audiodg.exe is at 0% de most of the time. (4.5sec CPU Time after 6 hours of uptime) I'm running last Realtek HD Audio drivers (2.25A) with Windows 7 build 7201.
Guest neo7
do you have sound filters like SRS installed? might be the cause
Preppy Veteran Posted June 6, 2009 Veteran Share Posted June 6, 2009 This also happens to me, even with the newer builds. What's your dxdiag info?Your issue post-RC is probably different than the OP's beta issue. =\
iwod
This also happens to me, even with the newer builds. I am guessing you use Realtek AC97 Drivers?
Udedenkz
This might or might not be relevant to this particular thread but, I know that some services have dependencies which are false - in other words, the service works without the service it depends on started. Run regedit, go to services, find the service that you want keep and remove the service that you want to remove from its dependencies.

I can search Google and find that this problem is very common even some years ago, with Windows Vista, for instance. But thank you anyway! :) No problem here, audiodg.exe is at 0% de most of the time. (4.5sec CPU Time after 6 hours of uptime)I'm running last Realtek HD Audio drivers (2.25A) with Windows 7 build 7201. There are newer (2.26) drivers today. :p do you have sound filters like SRS installed? might be the cause Yes I do, DTS emulation is on and I don't plan to disable it. This should work and it is very useful with my optical connection. What's your dxdiag info?Your issue post-RC is probably different than the OP's beta issue. =\ Dxdiag is fine in both 32 and 64 bit flavors. :) I am guessing you use Realtek AC97 Drivers? Nope. HD. This might or might not be relevant to this particular thread but, I know that some services have dependencies which are false - in other words, the service works without the service it depends on started. Run regedit, go to services, find the service that you want keep and remove the service that you want to remove from its dependencies. I can't really make a connection of this tip with something that would help me. But thank you anyway! :) Well... Let's see if the newer drivers work. They say SRS components are updated :woot:
waruikoohii
Yes I do, DTS emulation is on and I don't plan to disable it. This should work and it is very useful with my optical connection.Just try it. It can't hurt, and it will eliminate it as a potential cause.
Preppy Veteran Posted June 6, 2009 Veteran Share Posted June 6, 2009 Dxdiag is fine in both 32 and 64 bit flavors. :)That wasn't the question: it was what is that data set that dxdiag puts together? That would potentially provide more information than is in the thread so far. :)
ajua
I'm using 2.25 with DTS on and i have no problems at all. I will install 2.26 today to see if they work fine as well. Running RC Spanish build.
iwod
This also happens to me, even with the newer builds. My problem with was High DPC latency . ( Which also causes other things to have 99% CPU usage ) My Logitech USB Camera didnt like my sound card at all. Unplugiing my USB helps. This problem has been widely mentioned on the internet. And yes, few years later M$ still haven't fix it yet.
