well I'd thought I'd get an head start into my final project before I actaully hit it! I have a couple of ideas but need to ask some questions to see how difficult and if it is actually practical for me to make something along these ideas. So here goes?
One idea was to creating a online syncing tool that sort of works like SVN but a bit dumb down really.
So my question how is it possible that a file can be converted into a database then later be put back togther without any MD5 issues or timestamping?
I know SVN stores the data into its own database structure but how it do that?
When feacthing the file down how dose it only take the changed section of a file and just download that section instead of the whole file?
Thats one Idea and questions next...
Create an online desktop where people can basically have OS that is online and can be accessed wherever there a internet connection
How hard would this to achive? and out of the two which would be better to achive this using ajax which I know, or learning flash and action scripting?
last question out of the two, what would you think is the most solid project to under take? and still be the most possible to achive?
