Jon8c
Well, I've recently switched to a new visual style for my Windows XP, and I'm quite pleased with it. However, having some extent of OCD, I can't stand the thought of having a double bolded option in my context menus. This new theme has set the text in my menus to be bold by default. Yet, Windows, or something, automatically bolds the default and/or recommended option in the menus a second time, making the text still readable but incredibly annoying. I already know how to change the default font of the text in the context menus through use of the Display Properties, but that doesn't resolve my issue. I'm sorry if this has already been asked somewhere (I couldn't find it, not even through Google), but is there any way I could tweak my Windows to disable this bolding function? I'd prefer a method excluding external customization software no matter how strange or difficult the solution would be. I don't mind tweaking software, though. Either way, I don't think my preference in what type of solution matters as long as there is a solution. Thanks. Note: I'm running a slightly customized (through nLite) Windows XP Professional SP3 x86 system. Again, thanks.
