thejohnnyq
Transfer Kit You will need to order the new HD transfer kit from MS. I did it and found most of my Halo 3 games saves were corrupted.

huddy
I had a 20Gb drive and bought a 120GB with the transfer cable. The whole process takes about about an hour (~40 mins format and 20 mins data copy) and you just follow the on screen instructions from the CD that you put in the console. I had no problems. All my saves were there and all my XBLA games, demos and videos were copied and continued to work. Plus, I sold the transfer cable on eBay and got ?25 - result!! thejohnnyq
I ordered my kit to make it easier. I was told that one came the HD upgrade, but when i checked it out, it was the form to fill out and mail in. I went online and printed the form. I mailed mine in, and had the new kit in 8 days from mailing, and then after 2 weeks, got another one. Gamestop is willing to buy it for $20, so i might sell the extra one. Please note that you may have to do a recover gamer tag after using, I had over 25 gamer tags on mine, (my friends and kids, and there friends), and 10 of them had to be recovered. Advent
Xbox License Migration Also just as a note for other people (doesn't effect the topic creator) if your Xbox 360 gets the deadly 3 red lights and choose to send it in to Microsoft for repair, when your Xbox 360 is returned you will realize some or all of your downloaded content from LIVE will not work on this "new" Xbox 360. So for people who have this problem too, you can use the above link to get back what is rightfully yours to begin with. Hope that helps. :)

Neztea
Have you thought of maybe not purchasing the expensive official 120Gb HD and modding one for your own. Its a lower cost plus your giving the finger to MS. Its fantastic :) Neztea
