Brian M. Veteran Posted January 8, 2009 Veteran Share Posted January 8, 2009 Hi, My sister's PC is getting this (Vista SP1 Home Premium). I guess it's a WGA issue, but I know it's a legit copy of as I installed/activated/validated it myself on Friday when I installed Vista using the product key on the COA (had to activate by phone as it said the key couldn't be activated online, but I think this is fairly normal for OEM keys, and it activated fine by phone). It was working fine yesterday, and earlier today and apparently nothing has been installed today (as that was my initial thought). It also has AVG Antivirus running. I'm going down there Saturday to fix it, but I don't want to go down there blind (as I've never really had any issues with WGA, it's always just worked), and was wondering if there's anything that might help (i.e. any WGA diagnostic tools etc), or if anyone has any ideas what might be causing it? Thanks :)
