And gif is the best for web when you have under 64 colors cause its way smaller in size than png. Filesize is always important in webdesign. 0 kokoloko Posted April 12, 2003 Share Posted April 12, 2003 The problem with transparent gifs is that they always depend on the background, no alpha chanel just empty pixels. No need to save in 256 colors, i never save a gif with more than 32. If needed i change the pallete a bit. None in Matte means white matte.
