kitkat3783
I just got the windows 7 beta yesterday. My problem is i can not get my audio to work. I'm using an HP pavilion dv5000. It uses the Conexant High Definition Audio Driver. I have tried many fixes that I have found. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the drivers and the hardware. I have done the f8 disable driver signing. I've downloaded different releases of the drivers. I give up! I really like windows 7 but with no sound I have no reason to keep it. If anyone has any advice it would be a great help. Edit: Sorry the error I am getting when i look at device manager is "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

Did you try Vista x64 drivers in Vista compatibility mode?
