Sethos
I have a big problem with my 4850 1GB because it does not support the physx of Nvidia, look the differents in the video above. Would be easy for some modders to enable it for ATi cards. Load up the PhysX drivers / software and the physics demos work just fine on an ATi card.
BamiSoep
When i started the game, when there is no combat in the beginning it runs PERFECT on high :) but when the fighting started with that helicopter it started to shock like hell! and that was just because i enabled the physx

PricklyPoo
I was wondering about this. Kida ****es me off that I spent all this money on a new computer and got an ATI video card....pos doesn't even work with physx heh. But I guess thats what happens when nvidia buys out the company that makes physx. :/
riot
My 9800GT 1GB handles it fine. Game runs great with PhysX on and the 1.01 patch. Nvidia FTW!!
PricklyPoo
Hmm, well I bought the game and sure enough it runs like **** on my ATI 4850 X2 with physx enabled. But with physx turned off it runs great. But I guess without an nvidia card the processor handles it and I only have an e8500 so no wonder. :/
+Mystic MVC Posted January 17, 2009 MVC Share Posted January 17, 2009 Physx in this game with my GTX 280 is freaking awesome. The part in the mall with the blue glass things that fall to the floor.....:D

The part in the mall with the blue glass things that fall to the floor.....:D  :p But ya, even without physx, the game is pretty damn amazing imo... The graphics are so clean and sleek..everything just looks so shiny and colorful hehe. And the gameplay is much more fun than anything else I've played in the last few years. Sethos
It's the way it's coded, an X2 should be more than adequate to handle the PhysX physics.

That articles about physx working on ATI were from 6-7 months ago though... Are they making any progress?? It's just so annoying that my card that performs just as well or better than a gtx 280 doesn't run the game how it should. Nvidia ripping me off with their proprietary ****. :(
Chester0
So there is no way to enable it for ATi cards? or at least the CPU can do it
Lee
So there is no way to enable it for ATi cards?or at least the CPU can do it If its enabled in the settings (and you have an ATI card) it will use the CPU.
