roadgeek9
Ubuntu 8.10 has a feature that allows you to make a USB flash drive from the ISO. I installed Ubuntu 8.10 on a Virtual Machine, and tried to use the feature. I then tried to make the bootable flash drive, but I just got stuck at this screen... I can't boot off of the Ubuntu CD, because my laptop's CD drive, in essence...sucks. But I can boot off a USB drive if I want to. So, any ideas? Lechio
Since you are running Windows you could try unetbootin: http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/
roadgeek9
Thanks a lot, but I found out another problem. What I needed to do was reformat the flash drive. Now it is working fine.
