MAFIA II

In all the times I have had this game I never knew you could press tab when on a mission to bring up the map, at least now I can get the race car to where its supposed to be. Never ever got that far before :/

Yes, I was surprised at the native WS resolution, dont think there were many WS monitors back then.

...don't forget about the "Governor" on the cars. It sets the maximum speed to the speed limit, making traveling without getting pulled over much easier. Forget which key it is though.

Er, there are many more than that. In fact, one of the "side games" is collecting all of the different models at the garage. Again, this isn't a GTA game and is set in the 20's-30's. There are faster cars, but they arn't hoopdy's from the fast & furious.

I sure hope it won't have an Nvidia 295 and an intel i7 extreme as recommended....this kind of detail like gtaIV ,this days tend to make you buy a 2500 machine just to run a game :-s

...mmmm, I plan to get Mafia 2 for the 360 anyway. I can't afford a gaming machine anymore and the console, for ME, offers less hassle and better graphics.

EDIT: Er, let me clarify, I don't want to offend anyone and before I star a flame war here; When I say "Better Graphics" I simply mean that I'll be playing Mafia 2 on a 56 Inch 1080p LCD. (with 500watt 5.1). To me, thats better "graphics". I used to be a computer only gamer, but every since I went to a xbox 360, I've gotten used to the controls, always have money in my pocket and get to play many more games, since I can just rent them instead of buying. However, I miss PC gaming sometimes, especially for the customizations and mods.

I started the first a while back, I should really go back and start again and play through it as it seemed like a great game from the little I tried it. (Y)

I'll give it a go, but I have a horrible feeling it won't be the same... without Tommy!

Let's just hope the storyline is as fantastic as the first.

Mafia 1 was a superb game. Remember getting it for my birthday when it was just released, my computer could barely handle it but that didn't bother me at the time, just being able to play the game was great enough.

I actually wanna play it again now, wish I hadn't sold it!!

All I've heard so far is "fall" 2009. Who knows if it'll be bumped.

Until then, Godfather 2 is comming out this month. Fingers are crossed...but it'll never be as good as a Mafia game.

I never played the original xbox version of Mafia 1, but I heard it was inferior to the PC version for some reason.

Doubt we'll see that issue for the current gen's though.
