NoobWithKnowledge
Hi there, I have two questions that I can?t find answers for: 1) Is there a way to let the start button image (i.e. the Windows orb) go over the upper border (the sizing bar) like it is in Vista? 2) Is it somehow possible to set the start button image dynamically? I?d like to set the current account image here - which obviously is a different on for each user... I played around with StyleBuilder but the "Substitute" option is greyed out for the start button imag:(:( Thanks in advance!
Jamushroom Veteran Posted January 19, 2009 Veteran Share Posted January 19, 2009 Both things aren't possible :) You could create a new start button image with your user picture in there.
Krokus
The first thing is possible. Lee-Soft - ViOrb: Vista Start Orb
NoobWithKnowledge
Thanks guys... As you can imagine, this is not what I?m pleased to read:)) @Krokus: Thanks for the link, I took a look and found it quite funny (although it is limited to show the Vista orb). But I?d rather prefer styling my desktop without additional software.
virgo89
^ You cant get the vista orb to go above the taskbar border without a third party software like WB or VistaOrb.
