Child subjected to pornography whilst playing Xbox Live UNO

Father and three-year-old daughter subjected to pornography whilst playing UNO on Xbox Live.

What game is more innocent than UNO? The classic children's card game was brought to Xbox Live Arcade by Carbonated Games and Microsoft Game Studios in 2006. The game offers multiplayer for up to four, where players can drop in and out of games at any point.

UNO also supports the Xbox Live Vision camera, which allows opponents to view an image of other players whilst playing the game. What better game to help demonstrate the family fun of Xbox Live?

One helpful brother explains how he was showing his sister how to play an online Xbox Live game by creating an open UNO game. His Xbox Live Vision camera was turned on - showing him, his sister, and his three-year-old daughter sitting on his lap.

What happens next is unbelievable. A fellow player with camera capability joins the game. The player goes about playing porn on his PC, then points his camera at the pornographic images and leaves it there for all other UNO players to see. The father/brother expresses his disgust on gaming forum NeoGAF;

"Really now. Is that necessary? My daughter is plainly sitting there on my lap and yet he puts the porn on anyway?

"I wouldn't mind if it was a bunch of guys around...but he could clearly see my daughter and another person with a tag of 'twins mom'...and then he does that. C'mon. That ain't right."

It surely isn't. Regulating this type of behaviour is difficult, but the offending person should suffer the consequence of having his gamertag banned, and further, being thrown off Xbox Live for good. Microsoft should concentrate on getting rid of these nutters, rather than people that happen to have the word "gay" in their name.

And even though research on the damage caused by exposing youth to pornographic material is not yet conclusive, police authorities could get involved and make this Xbox player suffer much worse than getting kicked off Xbox Live. Worth the joke?

Sorry but

Ban the XBL account and ban the console as well.

I know the XBL account if kept alive allows MS to keep making money, but in circumstances like this these asshats really need to be hung out to dry to teach them a lesson.

 though

Haha, that's hilarious - Remember me and a friend joined UNO games, then he pointed his camera at some random .gifs on his monitor, guys blowing themselves etc.

Oh and the little episode where some guy started to jack off and ejaculate ...

Just submit a ticket saying that the player is bad, then Microsoft will follow through with the investigation and hopefully ban the user from Xbox Live for such a blatent violation of the contract. You can't expect to have an open game on Xbox Live and be safe all the time. Sure 90% of the users will be absolutely normal and not jacking off whilst playing, but you'll have the odd one that's having a hand party and watching porn because they think it's funny.

There's a video on the Xbox Live welcome screen that discusses the "report" feature, and how it works.

There are people out there that have sex in front of their children. There have always been people in the world that have that behavior and this will continue until the end of time.

lol

Son: Daddy where do babies come from?

Father: Well son, it's a very complicated process but a fun one too. Now watch very carefully.

ESRB's warning couldn't make any more sense in cases like this:

Note: Game Experience May Change During Online Play.

On topic though, what an ass. Funny and sad at the same time.

That is called "immature".

If you have those images that probably means you and your friend are into that sort of thing? I think I would have a hard time bearing to find such items just to get a rise out of some kids.

First of all, I didn't have those images, he did and such images are easy to come across on local 'lamer' sites, so you know where you can put that assumption ;)

And yes, we are both immature - That's our kind of fun.

Aha, I love being immature with friends, it's not all that bad :p

Amongst your friends, of course, we all need to let off steam and act immature now and then (Y)

Amongst people you don't know if it's stuff like what went on in the first post, no, that's just a complete waste of everyone's time and makes you look like a retard (N)

I am no saint :D . Back in 2000 a.d., we trolled the MSNBC message boards so bad they had to turn them off. With titles like, Unwed Mothers are the ###### of Babylon, we sure caught the eye of some forum dwellers.

Yeah sure, but I'd rather leave people with an enjoyable experience of meeting me/playing with me so that they may again.

But I understand seas of gamers think it's a better idea to act like mongs and create a bad reputation for themselves [not implying this is you]. I'm no psychologist even although I studied psychology for two years, but it still baffles me as to why people think annoymity is an excuse to act like a **** end - Even although you aren't "annoymous", your gamercard is your identity.
