Elliot B.
What setting(s) take the biggest performance hit(s) in Crysis Warhead?
SuperKid
You mean the graphical options i guess. Well i would say texture settings is the main one which would drop performance. Also any Anti-Aliasing can drop performance ALOT In crysis warhead.
Sethos
Blur is definitely also a killer, I can max out EVERYTHING ( AA not included, haven't tested ) except blur, it just takes a huge chunk out of the performance. Looks crap anyway though.
Smigit
I wouldn't imagine imagine texture settings would be necessarily that huge a killer actually along as your card has the ram and throughput to support what you set. My money would be on resolution and anti aliasing. As for blurring I can see that being a bit of a hit although some articles did feel that having it on allows you to somewhat compensate for lower framerates. I guess thats up to individual taste. But yeah, the original crysis I overcame any performance issues by lowering my res from 1900x1200 to 1680x1080 and it improved a fair bit then.
