MonatanFX
Hi, I got a NC10 yesterday and when 1st setting it up, it recommended I create a partition because of the recovery solution suite it added. I went a head and added 1 not really knowing what I was getting in to. I have been transferring files across from my PC and have quickly filled up the C: drive partition. Now I am getting into issues downloading stuff etc because it is saying the hard-drive is full. I transferred a few files from C: to D: to free up some space. Now I'm wondering, will I have to continue to do this in the future. Manually transfer the files? Or can I set it up so that both sides of the partition coexist as 1, seamlessly. virgo89
Well I kinda had a similar experience with my new Acer. What I did was just make restore disks. Then I deleted the recovery partition. Now I truly have ~320 GB drive :).
Gangsta
How about you back up all of the files on the second partition to an external (temporarily of course) and then use GParted or Disk Director or some other software to delete the second (D:) partition and expand the first one to fill the rest of the space? Having two partitions doesn't really help that much (unless you reformat a LOT and don't want to have to back up a lot of stuff every time (like me).
