SuperKid
Bug already, i installed warhead just, installed patch, played game changed my resolution, my resolution does not set, and the offset bug with the cursor happens, i had to edit game.cfg manually which says at top clearly it is not recommended for manual edit as it does not re-create itself if you delete it, so i edited the Height and Width to my res, started up and its working ok with my res now. Yusuf M. Veteran Posted January 31, 2009 Veteran Share Posted January 31, 2009 Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to try the game in 64-bit mode. Who knows, it might improve my performance.
ViperAFK
it still opens in windowed mode for me.
Yusuf M. Veteran Posted February 5, 2009 Veteran Share Posted February 5, 2009 it still opens in windowed mode for me. Here's something I did that resolved that issue for me: Make sure your game and desktop resolution are the same. Hit ALT + ENTER on your keyboard. It cycles between full screen and windowed mode. To prevent it from happening in the future, simply wait for Crysis Warhead to start up. What I noticed is that clicking anywhere on your desktop while the game is launching causes it to "lose focus" and therefore run in windowed mode. It's a common issue with Crysis in DX10 mode but it's been known to happen in DX9 mode too. Anyway, I ran the game in 64-bit mode and everything seems smoother. I rarely get any hiccups or sudden drops in FPS. Visually, it's very much the same with almost no difference with 32-bit mode.
Ayepecks
Patch did nothing for me. What a letdown. The Vista maximization issue is still the exact same. @ Aaron: Is there a separate EXE for your 64 bit version? What is the launch path?

You spelt my username wrong! :p No. Well, there isn't one that I'm aware of. I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate x64 w/ SP1 and I launch it from the Games explorer. I simply right click Crysis: Warhead and select "Play DX10 (64bit)".
