Tempted to buy this, didn't give it much of a play on my Xbox... but I always do like playing games more on my PC, so this looks like a buy :D

Edit: It's also cheaper (for the UK anyway) to download from Direct2Drive, rather than the EA Store by a couple of quid. Also, I think they provide the files you can keep - rather than installing that horrible EA downloader rubbish. Not 100% on that though.

Oh please oh please oh please oh please oh for the love of everything that is good come to steam.

Would be awesome, and maybe eventually but they take to long, which is why I am buying Retail.

I do have to say, this is definitely one of the better console ports I've played in a very long time. Especially so after how disappointing GTA4 was. Running at full 1080p with max settings and getting a decent framerate (not sure what it is exactly, but it feels smooth).

aye, the game for me is totally smooth, no one hint of slow down at all, i love it

Try activatng SSAO and tell me if there's not any kind of slowdown ;)

Man, if only EA had the brains to use this engine on NFS: Undercover. The game would of been so much more fun (got to love the almost visible shock wave in slow motion after a crash).

Oh, and this game isn't bad at all. Good fun for a few.

I got all the settings cranked and running the game @1080p and its completely smooth as silk. Nice job EA. EA is starting to churn out some quality for PC gamers, first Dead Space which I absolutely loved and ran sweet and now Burnout.

Screen Space Ambient Occlusion (SSAO) is a rendering technique for efficiently approximating the well-known computer graphics ambient occlusion effect in real-time. It was used for the first time in a video game in the 2007 PC game Crysis made by Crytek (the technique was developed by Vladimir Kajalin).

I just watched the Accolade trailer for Burnout Paradise and I'm pumped. I'm definitely buying it this month.
