Completed GTA IV took me 2 years now what?

Recommended Posts

I used to be a massive online gamer, but times have changed and don't really have the time for it all,

2 years ago my father thinking I was still into it massively bought me a xbox 360 elite - you could say at the time i was a little bit excited!

Unfortunately, since I have owned it I have barely used it, I loved the GTA series and got GTAIV with it, but after playing it on and off over 2 years i actually managed to complete it, well not all of it, just the missions then you get the credits and not really too excited about blowing up 200 pigeons or finding umpteen number of jumps!

So I don't wanna fork out top dolla, but I want something to keep me entertained, something i can pop on blast around on for an hour or two and go to bed - I don't do online any more (Like a smoking addiciton, once you stopped, just don't go back!)

Hell, I am not even upto date with what titles are out there, so what do I get?

Don't care if its the latest title, just want something that is great to play has some story line (but at times where the missus wants to try it out can still have fun not knowing the story line)

Any suggestions?

Probably best not to go for a driving game in the forza level (highly manipulative cars etc. competitive) but something fun an active, GTA similars?

I dunno...

Do'h stupid me - I have had my xbox 2 years and thought i got it bundled with gta iv, of course shows how "out of touch" I am!

Thinking about it, i got it about a month or two after it was released and since it was realeased under a year a go i don't feel so bad for completing it in my spare time!

I guess for the mods I need to be live, I still have my 3 months free membership - but do i risk it, i'll get hooked!

The misus will definitely get a good crack out of Fable 2. Fallout 3 is great but it's not a game I would pause for days or weeks, there are millions of things in Fallout World and it helps to remember what you did yesterday or day before to make most out of experience.

My top recommendations, both will last you AGES, Fallout 3 and Mass Effect. Both are VERY good games, fallout 3 is a RPG set after a nuclear bomb and Mass effect also a rpg is set in space exploring planets and space ports etc.

i wouldn't recommned fable at all. It will still be a $50-$60 game and it has a fairly short main story and very little else to do. No replay value.

Neither do a lot of games, but people still play the same FPS games over and over. Don't try make something different out of Fable that doesn't apply to other games, just because you have something against it clearly.
