»X«
I can't get my xbox 360 to connect to my WRT54GL router wirelessly. The router is using Tomato firmware 1.23. When I scan for a network with the 360 it doesnt find the router at all. Yet all my laptops, PC and iPhone can all find it. However, if I remove the firmware and put on DD-WRT firmware, it finds it first time. Problem is, I don't like using DD-WRT. Why cant it find it using Tomato? Sartoris
As far as I have heard, the Xbox 360 wireless adapter does NOT support WPA2.
P!P
LOL. Yeah, the Xbox/ Xbox 360 adapters don't work with WPA2. Don't be dissin' Tomato.

»X«
Why is there a WPA2 greyed out option in network settings for the 360? If it doesnt support it, remove it?
koftheworld
I had this problem when I was first setting up the official 360 wireless adapter. I didn't realize that it didn't support WPA2 (even though it is listed, but grayed out) until I looked it up online. I switched my router's security protocol to WPA, and the wireless adapter worked right away. Why is there a WPA2 greyed out option in network settings for the 360? If it doesnt support it, remove it? I would venture a guess that it may be enabled with a future update...that's just my opinion though.
