Weddings
I want to make everyone aware of an outfit selling information that is claimed to offer a 100% Guarantee that it will ?work instantly? to resolve your SKU011.CAB problem that is so prevalent with Microsoft Office 2003. In trying to install two new programs, each of them kept trying to install Office 2003 and can never find this SKU011.CAB file. So I hunted on the net for ways to fix it and found tons of sites which have the same fix as this and for FREE; http://www.techspot.com/vb/all/windows/t-4...le-missing.html Go into Registry Editor (Start, Run, ?regedit?). Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software, Microsoft, Office, 11.0, Delivery. There should be only 1 directory under Delivery, which is your DownloadCode (mine was 90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9). Select that directory. On the right side of the screen, right-click on CDCache. Change the value to 0. This worked for me, but be very careful anytime you edit the system registry. Thanks for the great advice on this board. (Just do a search for SKU011.CAB and you?ll find this same advice is posted all over the net FOR FREE!) The fix posted above didn?t work for me so I kept looking and found a website which is selling this 100% guaranteed FIX for $10! Once you fall for it and buy, you download and receive a 2 page pdf with the same information touted freely on many other pages. Once I paid the $10 using PayPal and opened it up, I felt totally RIPPED OFF by these people so filed a resolution with PayPal asking for my $10 back. Of course, this ?company? I bought the pdf from refused to refund my $10 so the resolution offered by PayPal said my refund claim was DENIED because; ?Our investigation into your claim is complete. As stated in our User Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a refund.? So this company ripped me and god knows how many others off for $10 from something you can get on hundreds and hundreds of pages for free. BEWARE of this bunch and don?t buy their marketing lies claiming a 100% guarantee FIX which doesn?t work in all cases and when it doesn?t they have no intention of backing up or refunding once they have your money in their pocket. The ?fix? above is the same thing you can get on hundreds and hundreds of other websites FOR FREE! So do a search, SAVE YOUR MONEY and don?t get ripped off. $10 later and still no fix for my SKU011.CAB problem but I will keep looking? Update 11/03/08 This was first posted on October 21st and since that time I?ve been working to resolve my problem with SKU011.CAB errors. I finally got rid of my SKU011.CAB problem! Spent many hours until I finally got it to work for me so I thought about all the time and effort I put into it and decided to make my fix available in an $8 ebook. I tried many things, but none worked except this. Best thing of course is to use an Office 2003 CD but this method worked for me and I would have paid another $10, maybe more, to get this information if it was available. What makes my ?fix? better? Because I couldn?t find it anywhere on the net and had to work it out for myself?so all details are included in the ebook. It would be stupid of me or anyone to guarantee any computer FIX so I can?t do that but isn?t it worth $8 if it might actually fix such an annoying problem?
