Holoshed Posted March 3, 2009 Share Posted March 3, 2009 Oh yeah, there is no real way to cash out gold for real money. Blizzard does not embrace that and heck neither do most other players. As for how good with can do with it, if you need money for a mount just use the scanner to find items that are being sold for a lot less than they are worth, buy and resell. There is also a bit that lets you pounce on deals as soon as they are listed looking for under priced items. It takes a bit to learn what is worth buying. As for my real money, I use Second Life for that. I script items in SL to sell and make good money doing it :p SL pays for WoW... Funny eh? I started a thread about starting to play WoW myself roughly a year ago: Clickage. The truth is this: not everything is for everyone. Some people can play WoW and not get carried away by it, while some people play WoW and you end up seeing them on the news. Read through that thread and you'll see more of what I'm talking about.
