Yakuzing
Ok so I have a Logitech MX518, but that's not really important since the button(4 in setpoint, 3 in windows I think?) I want to change is set to Generic Button so it's all in Windows. (ps. there is no Up choice in SetPoint!) I was looking to disable all the bars in explorer(menus, buttons, address) , but I really don't want to be without the 'Up' (one level) button :p. I never saw the use in the 'back' since I never want to go back the way I came, only just, Up. I found the XMouse Button Control, and it would do the job, but it lacks the Up function as well. I did post and ask the creator of the program if he might add it. But maybe he does not have the time to do it, so I ask here anyway, any other ideas? Donkey88
It's not a fantastic solution to the problem but you can always press backspace for up one level. So you might be able to map a mouse button to backspace?
tmr250z
You could use uberOptions with SetPoint to map the mouse button to Backspace. You first need to have SetPoint installed then install uberOptions over it, which will give SetPiont more options than it usually has, allowing you map any button to perform almost any function you want. Yakuzing
Actually the backspace was so obvious that I should have seen it myself. The author of XMBC suggested it the day of my post so yea I got the answer :). Thanks anyway. Will have a look at uberOptions also. Thanks. I see it can do the exact same, where it would be an advantage to not have another application running, however, a slight nuisance to have to remove uberOptions if I am to update SetPoint. Honestly I might have updated SetPoint twice or thrice in my life but I got XMBC set up already so I'll stick with it for now :p. And this concludes this thread. I am done, thank you again.
