Ricardo Gil
If the games are all related, creating an MMO would be a killer. Like calling an airstrike from the ground, and some other player would fly in (Y) Awesomeness.

Draken
that's because the game isn't so great, I'm not to fond of manga and anime so I like it more than AC6, and I like the "Tom Clancy" feeling and style, but for me isn't no more than a 7.5 may be an 8. May be multiplayer and co-op will be a better experience. So it was kinda let down for me :pinch:

+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted March 5, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted March 5, 2009 Arguing over official topic layouts, cmon guys, effort is effort :p And yeah I used this layout for the KZ2 topic, no idea if Munky used it before but I don't think he'd mind/care. Gonna play the demo of this later, looking forward to a flight game. This caught my eye though as a flight simulator which I might try, considering Microsoft Flight simulator seems to be on the verge of never existing again. Sethos
but I don't think he'd mind/care. About giving credit where credit is due and that wasn't arguing, that was merely pointing something out. And Black Shark is a system hog beyond Crysis and GTA IV - On high settings, my i7 system is struggling to reach 25 FPS average. It's also the most realistic simulator I have ever had my hands on. Yeah but the point was Draken took the layout from my KZ2 topic, not any of Munkys if you want to argue your credit where due point dude :p I never copied a layout from Munky for the KZ2 topic, just added that part above in case my layout resembled anything Munky has done by coincidence. Ah well, I doubt my new card will handle it, still might give it a shot (Y)
Draken
H.A.W.X. is 100% arcade Sad to hear that about FS :(
Sethos
Has there ever been a flight simulator on a console which wasn't arcade? Realistic flight sims on a console is next to impossible due to the lack of buttons and the audience for such game on a console just isn't there. Digitalx
I'm a FSX player i still find the arcade factor enjoying since obviously FSX doesn't have any combat like stuff in it. judging off demo, i'd probably give the game a 7.8-8 I it on played on PC too. i'll probably get this game just cause it's first even FSX doesn't have it which is proper/close enough physics which factor in vectored thrust etc.

NienorGT
Played the PC demo (with a 360 controller), and how the hell are you supposed to control the plane in 3rd person view?
Axel
I'm a pilot and was sorta looking forward to this. Upon playing the demo I was seriously unimpressed! What a shame as the graphics and city (rio) looked absolutely fantastic! I wouldnt mind another Microsoft Combat flight Simulator based on the flight sim X engine but unfortunately I don't see that happening anytime soon! carmatic
interesting.... an air combat game for tom clancy fans i used to think that everything tom clancy was supposed to be realistic, but not anymore... the 3rd person views sure look like theyre fun
carmatic
Played the PC demo (with a 360 controller), and how the hell are you supposed to control the plane in 3rd person view? ahh, thats a special skill that you'll get to enjoy using when you get used to it... its kind of like flying a remote controlled model airplane , you have to think in terms of turning the plane 'from the outside' , so to speak... or even, imagine holding a tiny toy airplane in your hands and using it to act out a bunch of aerial maneouvres ...knowing exactly where the plane is facing, when its facing away from the target, isnt necessary because you'll be turning and dodging all the time anyway

xirtam
I really enjoyed the demo, played the second level 4 times on the PC and 3 times on the PS3, played with the keyboard and mouse and didn't fell right so used the Sixaxis and it played much better, then i swiched over to the PS3, that felt even better, was expecting long load times but they weren't to bad at all. The 3rd Person View is lots of fun, its so cool to see the action form a distance and only took a little while to get used to, now i am switching between the two views all the time. For me that arcade feel of the game is just spot on, would give this 8/10 (i rarely rate any game that high) Will definitely be getting this and might even be willing to spend the extra for the PS3 version.
