0 Kaotik
Ok, first things first, you can''t really expect people to sign up to a forum that has little or no content. Making them do this before they even have a chance to look things over and make a choice is really stupid. You will loose more potential members this way. And even though you may have quite a few members registered due to your tactics they will most likely take a peek, close the window, and never return. I dig the invision skin you are using, did you make it yourself? have it made for you? or is it freely available to others? It loads fast, the colours work well together and it is very easy on the eyes. I think you have way too many forums for a newborn site. I counted 29 and I feel that a lot of them can be generalized a bit more until you reach a large amount of users. (Example. Web Design & Graphic Design could be Web & Graphic Design) In most cases I find that a lot of forums are left unused, make it harder to find what you are looking for, and actually create more chaos then they prevent. Maybe you could try installing a portal system of some type. Portals are a great way to keep members updated with news and provide a nice friendly station to view latest and most recent topics. Hopefully this helps, I plan to return to your site and check to see what types of updates you unvail but until you make changes to the whole registration process I will not be posting as not many people will even be able to see it. 0 Aeikus
Kaotik: I've changed it so guest can browse the board without registering, I thought it was already set up like that, but I guess not (: The board skin is freely available to others, I just modified it a tad, I wanted something temporary until I finish my own skin. I've cut the forums down a bit, I might cut them down a bit more later. As far as a Portal system, do you have any recommendations for anything? I'm open to any ideas (: Bluerei: Could you be more specific please? (: R-MAXX: Guest can now fully view the forum, like I said earlier, I thought that I already enabled that feature, apparently not. Thanks for your input guys, if there is anything else you feel needs work, feel free to let me know.
