Argote
So, I've been meaning to play Deus Ex again and I wanted to know if there was any way to enhance the graphics. I found some info on a project called "New Vision" but I can't seem to find the files anywhere. If anyone know anything about this I'd appreciate help to bring Deus Ex's graphics up to date. If it's not possible then meh, I'm gonna play it anyway.
~ Rogue ~
God I remember that game - still one of my all-time favorites. God, I hate cats sometimes. Anyhow, speaking of which, have you heard anything lately regarding Deus Ex 3? --- I'm not familiar with the project you're speaking about. I don't think there really is a way to take the graphics beyond what is offered but I could be mistaken.
alpha_omega
You can improve graphics by using an improved D3D/OGL renderer which you can get here: http://cwdohnal.home.mindspring.com/utglr/ Some of the advanced options are explained here: http://cwdohnal.home.mindspring.com/utglr/settings.html

See Black Mesa source for Half-Life, and various texture enhancements for Oblivion, to name a couple. I don't know about Deus Ex, though. @OP your best bet is to check any fan sites for mods/info. Treemonkeys
Such a great FPS! Too bad the 2nd one sucked and was dumbed down for consoles.
nothuman
I played it a few years ago for the graphical update by the community and it simply was an amazing experience. One of the best game of all time. But I can't remember where I found the files... I can't talk about Deus Ex without bringing it's fellow brother System Shock. You may skip the first one and go directly for System Shock II. It's like Deus Ex (FPS with RPG elements) and if you like one you like the other. And System Shock II is one of the scariest game ever. ;) There is also a graphical update an it's beautifully made. You can check my friend's page with all the links needed in the annexes and are hosted in his website. It's in fench so if you don't understand it there is this page for all the explanations.
