nice, and will get it for sure. as for the exclusivity, that doesn't matter. those without 360's can get it on the PC, and those who don't game on either...well, life goes on as they say.

The trailer really makes me want to play, seeing as the writing for the game's story only seems to be improving. Go to so much effort to create and maintain a character in the game and BAM! he's dead in game two.

Awesome :) now just have to wait another year now :( oh well, we all know it will be worth the wait :woot: I'm buying it soon as it releases

We don't know that, there has been much discussion here on Neowin about that. I seriously doubt Shepard is dead as he/she is suppose to be the main character for all 3 games....little hard if he's/she's dead now isn't it? ;)

Just gives me the urge to replay for the 4th (or is it 5th now?) time.

This game's sucked away more of my time than any other in the past five years.

I bet we'll see Mass Effect come to PS3 since it is EA now.

I don't think so, EA have been really good to BioWare with regards to Mass Effect 2. Not only are they giving them the time they need to make it as great as possible, they brought in more people to help. I think the announced platforms are all it will be released on and considering how much of a pain the PS3 is to program for AND that the 360 is the lead platform (I think?) they are doing us a huge favor keeping the PS3 out of it.

We don't know anything beyond what this trailer is hinting at, and so far it says out right that Shepard's current status is KIA. Even if he isn't dead there is no guarantee that he will actually be the main character in this game. For all you know they will take your save data and construction of Shepard and make him the guy you track down and "join up" with or, inevitably, kill. There are alot of story possibilities that this trailer eludes to, many of which are very welcome in my book.

Perhaps your right, but BioWare staff have been hinting towards Shepard being the main character for all 3 games. You have some interesting theories there and it would make for an interesting game if they hold true, still as you said we really dunno (but sure can't wait to find out!).

im positive Bioware said hold onto your gamesaves from the First mass effect as you can continue your character and jump straight into the game so you must be able to play as sheppard. This game is going to be soo good!

Mass Effect was good but I hated the fact that you had to run around finding and then talking to lots of people in order to progress. The levels weren't easy to get around!

Let's hope they made Mass Effect 2 a bit less draggy.

Im just glad its being done by the same people who did the first one. Rather than see a franchise possibility and usher in absolutely everything they can to try and make it sell more, theyve left the original team as-is (so I hear) and let them get on with it, offering them more people if needed etc. Not bothering with the PS3 wont hurt sales immensely, compared with the cost on developing for it, and will get the game out the door quicker. More money movement is just what we need.
