Probably the next Xbox. Does anyone use Windows LIVE, I swear when it first came out I thought I would use it everyday but I haven?t touched it since.

You're pretty much forced to use it for any "Games for Windows". Didn't Microsoft charge a fee to use it? In any case, it isn't as popular as Xbox LIVE.

Anyway, I hope they unveil a trailer for Mass Effect 2.

Looking forward to see any previous 'exclusives' going multiplatform  I'm looking forward to see Mass Effect 2 footage, Bioshock 2 footage and any new RPG exclusives, if there are any, from MS.

Little harsh much? This is just the second generation they have been around. They have had a nice showing so far overall and have put out some decent RPG's, but give it some time.

Probably the next Xbox.

I know word going around is that, the next consoles will be out in 2011-2012, so yeah hopefully we will get a glimpse at them.

As far as hardware goes, I don't know. A ton of mad Catz stuff :p

still looking forward to the show. Gaming is really hot right now..

UP: Players' club. Even as video game prices continue to climb, sales are skyrocketing in an industry that doesn't seem the least bit hit by the recession. "January sales were up 13 percent over January 2008," said David Riley, senior public relations manager at NPD Group, which tracks the industry. Sales are being pushed by the Nintendo Wii, the extremely popular video game platform that offers players a chance to flex multiple muscle groups, including their wrists, forearms and (most famously)

. Riley said he wasn't surprised that video games are selling so well, as they offer nearly endless gameplay and a lot of bang for the buck. "What would be surprising is if we saw a huge dip in sales. That would be really scary because then you'd know we really are in a recession."

GDC: Microsoft to show “very cool stuff” today

By Patrick Garratt

OXM tweeted last night that, “Microsoft has some very cool stuff to show you tomorrow.”

If it does, we don’t know what it is. We’re nothing if not honest.

As soon as the very cool stuff appears, we’ll be sure to let you know.

GTTV?s Geoff Keighley?s claimed there are going to be megaton game announcements at this year?s GDC, which is kicking off as we type. ?Interesting to see Variety expecting no Gears of War 2-level announcements at GDC,? said the journo on his Twitter. ?They are wrong. Stay tuned.?Gears of War 2 was announced in the Microsoft keynote at last year?s GDC.

Rumored to be singleplayer. We'll see.

Ah, very clever thinking on their part. No one bought the first round of quick dlc they had out so they will try to get people back into playing the game with some single player dlc. I seriously applaud whoever thought of that one.

No one bought the first round of DLC as it was related to multiplayer which was pretty broken at the time. Had the multiplayer been running fine the sales would no doubt have been much higher.

Putting up some SP DLC could be a good move, but it depends if it's Lost and the Damned type expansion, something a little less heavy like Fallout SP DLC, or something short like an hour or two of content.

It is still broken now according to some people, but I don't want to say anything about it because I got mauled the last time I did. I think regardless of the type, it will still pull people in. Who knows, if it is cheap enough, I might actually get it and I never get anything on XBL (other than the COD4 maps).
