Real men buy an arcade, spray it black (and yellow), replace the drive tray with their silver one and then upgrade the hard drive manually to 120gb (H)

^ Oh he did. Even DM is down with Eminem lol.

Anyway, you confused me DM. I read thru the thread and one of your replys said "I dont know if im going to replace the dvd drive and hope thats the only problem in my old one or buy a new one."

Em isnt this your new one? lol. And if isnt why are you taking pictures you fool! You confused me.

First page, you said "Still trying to decide if I should buy one".

Sorry I didn't make it quite clear.

I was talking about my broken 360 and replacing the broken DVD drive with a new one from eBay. Currently that is the only problem that I know it has. I could replace the dvd drive and something else could go wrong though, so I'm still trying to decide if its worth a gamble spending ?25 or just give up on it.

Please tell me you didn't just recite Eminem lyrcis?:

You knows it:cool::

Depends what you're planning to do with the older 360 once the drive is replaced, if you're looking to keep it in a spare room then I'd say it's worth it, but if you're looking to sell it you need to see if it's worth the hassle.

surprised you didn't have a mental break down or something having no working 360. Congrats...your a shining example of mental endurance and manly ruggedness.

It's all in the name...

In Biblical, the name Andrew means- manly, courageous. Other origins for the name Andrew include - Biblical, English, Scottish. The name Andrew is most often used as a boy name or male name.

In Scottish, the name Andrew means- Manly. From the Greek Andrew. Has long been a popular Scottish name, because St. Andrew is the Patron Saint of Scotland after whom the town of St Andrews was named.

LMFAO

I did like this part too

Imagine asking someone if they were a "boy or male"

RROD at first, removed the x-clamps and installed bolts & springs. That fixed that problem, then I had E75 (I think?) so fixed the network port. It all worked! then it died...The flash chip on my dvd drive is screwed.

I can replace the DVD drive in the old X360 still, its just a question of whether another problem lies waiting or if that will finally fix it. Still trying to decide if I should buy one..

You've bricked the DVD drive flashing it? oh boy you're my idol

Nope, it just died.

When you hear reports of 360 drives dying, its probably one of the biggest causes. Other times its lens issues or disk scratching.

If it was bricked, it would have bricked in October.

I was in the exact same situation my friend. I just bought my Macbook 3 weeks ago and its really hurting the wallet.

I couldn't be without a 360 any longer though, having only a PS3 to use was dire for me :(

Hope you can get your hands on one again soon!
