Reacon
I have this problem where when vsync is enabled the mouse takes a half second to kick in when I try moving it. I've been able to deal with it mostly but it is getting unbearable, especially since it's the only thing keeping me from progressing past the asteroid defense part. See, you people might just say "turn vsync off it sucks anyway". Well, I have two reasons for not doing that. One being the verticle tearing is horrid without it, and the second is that when it's off, then mouse is even worse because the sensitivity is so looooow. On the highest sensitivity settings I need to move my mouse all the way across the mousepad to turn 90 degrees. I've tried enabling vsync via ATI panel, started DS, no dice. Yusuf M. Veteran Posted March 29, 2009 Veteran Share Posted March 29, 2009 What resolution are you trying to play the game at? Also, what is your monitor's refresh rate at that resolution? One more thing, make sure triple buffering is disabled. It's known to create control lag issues in newer games. Unfortunately, your FPS will be halved from 60 to 30 with v-sync enabled (assuming your refresh rate is 60Hz).
