Gotenks98
I am thinking about getting these games after trying the guitar hero demo on the 360. I am looking for places that sell cheap bundles for the series. I am just looking for the guitar and games, I probably will get the drums and other stuff later. Whats the difference between GH and RB? Which of these series has the largest selection of 80's music on the 360?

Copoboxx
Guitar Hero 3 with Guitar X version @ Ebay ?35 which is pretty cheap for GH3 + Controller.. Rock Band is more old style and for me Guitar Hero all the way since it's more modern and my style.. Try watching some videos about Gh3 and rock band in terms of gameplay;))
SMELTN
I have owned GH and GH:WT we bought for Wii.. Now of course being on Wii, it's pretty different than the others, but I honestly, wasn't impressed with it. I love the guitar, and love the drums because of the included symbols.. But in all honesty I would rather have RB2.
NikBrooks
Ive only played the Guitar Hero series, but Ive been thinking of getting Rock Band since I have the GH:WT drums. If its 80s music your looking for you could always go onto wikipedia and search for each games track listings. Out of all the GH games I enjoyed GH3 the most, its the most challenging. But GH:WT has the drums so theres a bit extra in there aswell. The GH drums are pretty good, although Ive heard sometimes the cymbals break easily. Skulltrail
GH and RB follow a relatively similar system. The most notable difference is the look and feel of the game and the tracklists. Pick the game with the songs you want to play. Otherwise there isn't much of a difference.
