Recover pictures from SD Card?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if there is a way to recover pictures from an SD Card I have. I do not have a card reader though, I upload the pictures using the camera's software, so I am just curious.

If I put in the SD card, I can view it, but would I be able to run software to recover pictures since its in the camera?

Camera doesn't have an option for mass storage

Get yourself an USB SD card reader. Will save you time and hassle if your camera can't act as mass storage.

I thought most cameras had mass storage... either way, you should definitely get a card reader. Just make sure to see whether you have a SDHC or a regulard SD card.

Yeah I am just going to go to walmart and get a USB one, I believe they are pretty cheap there.
