I see they have Freespace and Freespace 2, those were good games. LOL, I see Cannon Fodder, that's an oldie but a goodie. The Earthworm Jim games were a blast. Beneath A Steel Sky is a classic. Panzer Elite is a great game. My girl would be glad to see Simon The Sorcerer on here. I've never played it myself though. The original Rainbow 6 was awesome (I still think it's the best of them all).

You have to try giants citizen kabuto. its on gog.com . it was game of the year when it came out.

Multiplayer rocks if you can find servers. Imagine everybody trying to take down a godzilla/king kong type monster.

1 player is kabuto and the rest are the tech guys or the magic guys.

te game rocks and never understood why another one was never maid. the single player mode is cool also.

I'm a fan of the old Infinity Engine games by Bioware and Black Isle: Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, and Icewind Dale 1 and 2. There are also Fallout, Fallout 2 and Planescape Torment. Engrossing, visually stunning adventures + great dialog + D&D; what more could you want ?

If you like adventure games most of the old LucasArts titles are great. The Secret of Monkey Island series, Indiana Jones & The Fate of Atlantis, Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, etc. These are all DOS games but they work in ScummVM, along with a lot of great games from other companies like Sierra's King's Quest series and The 7th Guest from Trilobyte.

Moto Racer was a great motorcycle racing game, and Incoming from Rage Software was pretty fun. Someone already mentioned Viper Racing but it was good too, also NASCAR Heat. Lords of the Realm II was good if you like turn based strategy games, and the Carnivores series if you like hunting dinosaurs. See also the original Turok game. Clive Barker's Undying was a great horror based game, and Voyager Elite Force was excellent I thought. I also had Klingon Honor Guard, a FPS based on the Unreal engine. It wasn't the greatest game in the world but it was kind of fun back then. Deep Space Nine: The Fallen is another one, it was much better. No One Lives Forever 1 and 2 were really good too.

The CD version of Fate of Atlantis has full voices instead of just text, and CD music if I remember right. They don't seem to have it on Good Old Games but what they don't have there you can always find on eBay. :)

I thought of another one I was going to mention, Mafia. It's one of my favorite games ever and the graphics are still great even today. Also the Carmageddon series, though the first two can be a challenge to get working on modern systems.

  • 3 weeks later...

Baulders Gate 1 and 2, Icewind Dale, Deus Ex 1 and 2 are good as well, also if you're playing Fallout 1, when you beat that, give Fallout 2 a shot, it's a lot of fun as well!

-EDIT-

Sorry for the double post, my work PC is acting up again. Can I get a mod to delete this?
