Solixis
Thanks obi problem solved May I suggest this dropdown box be implemented at the bottom of every page?
Timan Veteran Posted March 30, 2009 Veteran Share Posted March 30, 2009 Should already be there on every "forum" page. As for the main page, it should switch to the iphone theme automatically.
sharp65
The iphone specific home page doesn't seem to work with the 3.0 beta's, it just displays a blackberry style mobile site.

I guess that is the mobile page? Neowin didn't have a mobile page before the current skin. It used to be the full site, even on the iPhone. Rappy Veteran Posted April 3, 2009 Veteran Share Posted April 3, 2009 Is there any chance of fixing the spoiler reveals on the iphone (maybe mobile) version. All spoilers posted are revealed anyway when browsing.

The iPhone version with the new skin worked fine until upgrading to 3.

+chorpeac MVC Posted June 26, 2009 MVC Share Posted June 26, 2009 When is this available? I recently upgraded to the 3.0 iphone software, and I have to say that the mobile.neowin.net is terrible. It used to be a lot nicer looking. What happened to the interface?

Rudy
Heres, a teaser of the iPhone (only) version. We'll be able to point and laugh at the wmobile users. Why is it going to be iphone only ? It would look pretty good on any mobile device
Timan Veteran Posted July 9, 2009 Veteran Share Posted July 9, 2009 Why is it going to be iphone only ? It would look pretty good on any mobile device I would like you to mimic that in its full.. on Windows Mobile IE (any version).
Rudy
I would like you to mimic that in its full.. on Windows Mobile IE (any version). What about other mobile devices? Android phones have a browser based on webkit I believe, so there's no reason it shouldn't work on it
Timan Veteran Posted July 9, 2009 Veteran Share Posted July 9, 2009 Yea, if it works on those webkit browsers we'll support it. But for browsers like opera, wm ie... you'll get a different, not so fancy version.
+shift. MVC Posted July 10, 2009 MVC Share Posted July 10, 2009 (edited) From my iPhone even though the forums are on the mobile skin, when I load the main page (neowin.net) it doesn't load in the mobile version. I have confirmed this problem with a friend browsing the main page on an iPhone 3G as well. iPhone OS in question is 3.0. Edited July 10, 2009 by shift. Rob Veteran Posted July 10, 2009 Veteran Share Posted July 10, 2009 Yeah firmware update 3.0 has changed something that's broken our implementation.
