+Mystic MVC Posted March 30, 2009 MVC Share Posted March 30, 2009 I just added Windows Media Center to my Xbox 360. When I was running the setup on my computer, it said the network bandwidth performance was only 3-4 bars (less than acceptable for normal tv viewing). What exactly does that mean? I'm on my university's connection so I didn't think bandwidth should be an issue.

I think you can just ignore that message anyway though if your sure your network can handle it. :)

I tried accessing MCE on the 360, but everything is so behind. If I hit left on the stick, it moves left 30 seconds later.

+Mystic MVC Posted March 31, 2009 Author MVC Share Posted March 31, 2009 Maybe I can't even do it in the dorm rooms in the first place because there is no router. Before when I was getting low signal I had my computer connected up through the wall port and the xbox 360 was connected to the switch (which was connected to the other wall port). Now if I plug my computer into the switch, there is an error when I try to "add an extender" on WMC on my computer. The computer I am doing all of this on is the one in my signature. +Mystic MVC Posted March 31, 2009 Author MVC Share Posted March 31, 2009 Great... Now it won't let me add the extender period. Is it all because I have a switch and not a router?
