Only a few updates for 2009. Just changed around the location of my second monitor to make it more useful, and to give me a bit more desk space.

What's the smartphone to the left of the first pic? E71 by any chance?

And what model is your case?

When all my computers were in one room:

Of course it was never really setup that way; realistically my Eee PC is one of my network servers now for audio, and my laptop goes around. The actual main setup is like this:

My basement was finished for quite a few months now but I didn't have time to move anything down yet, but I dropped one desktop down there today along with a monitor I bought back in December. It's still a temporary setup for now.

A bit on the boring side to be honest (no offence!), but I like your desk phone! Is that a "24" phone, that goes... 'dut dut, deeee duuuu'

Haha, yeah it is boring. Unfortunately I don't get much say in what I can do with it, it being in an office shared by 4 other people.

And yeah, that is a "24" phone, and it can go "dut dut, deee, duuuu" but whenever I change it to use said tone, the phone server changes it back :(

^Nice setup :)

What's the basement PC for?

It's just a spare PC lol, don't want to clog up my room.

Nice cabling job +chconline

Thanks ya :D

considering the lack of a mouse. and its running windows xp with a hella lot of hard drive bays i would say its a back/file server?

No I already have 4 other servers in the house haha. This one is for, well, it's a client network comp :p

And Aussie, he already has a file server (not shown in pictures)

Yep. FTW.

That's two of them... the Thecus N4100PRO is not deployed yet though. That's in my basement storage/networking room.

Dell XPS m1330 hooked up to the Samsung 46" LCD TV via HDMI :woot:

No wonder microsoft gets so many dead xbox's look how that is position right toward the wall! xD

I suggest put it somewhere that behind the xbox, there is space for the hot air to go away instead of staying there making the back more hotter :D

That's a launch console. No RROD yet. There's a whole behind the TV stand and about 1 1/2 of space.

@J400UK: How much nicer is it to have all your cables tucked away in cable tidies ;). I just did mine recently its great. I will post some pics of my setup as soon as my dad paints my wall. I had dual screen but went to single wide screen and had to fill the hole in!

    • When I was a teen, I actually believed that the government used to be always be the bad guy. However as an adult, someone who has actually seen the Law work (though not perfect). I now think everyone cries a river. In this specific case, the so called freedom has consequences to society. Anyone who has seen how child are indeed affected, and I don't mean only extreme things like getting drugs or hate crimen , but no one can deny society as a whole has gone down a rabbit hole due to exesive use of internet. Before anyone calls out that it's the parents responsibility. Yes that's true, but the reality your family/kids might be good people. There are 99% out there who are not and have been brain dead by many things on the internet.
