Sorry, posted the wrong ImageShack links. And yeah, the cables are a bit of the mess but the water piping gets in the way a bit

I have some shelves behind my computer area, I store all my documents and disks in a seperate place to my computer

Low bandwidth warning: These images are pretty large

 :|

I know you said you don't have the money to replace the carpet, maybe its time to pull it up and just have floor boards.

Nice water cooling setup btw

My floorboards are awful, really rough and is its a council place we don't have permission to re-floor it so sadly going carpetless is not an option. The route I am most likely to take is to just get some proper carpet cleaning fluid and have a proper go at it, it is only the small area in front of my computer, on the whole the rest of it is OK.

I was going through some old photos yesterday, when I spotted the following two, which seem perfect for this thread - here's my first workstation :)

Eventually I decided I needed some cool wall art, after all, coding in BASIC can be hard work :)

These are so great! You should submit them to DorkYearbook.com!

I am soon to move out from my council house, however you can refloor it. I know I can. IF it REALLY bothers you, get to your local CAB ( Citizens Advice ) And get them to negotiate. I know it worked for a neighbor and she has nice bare floors now.

True, to be honest though I am planning to move anyway so I just haven't bothered xD

I just moved last week back to my parents house after 5 years on my own because of school. Now that my studies are over, I converted my old room into a place I can search for jobs. Soo many "tan" marks on the hardwood from the old furniture. The room is actually much bigger than in this pic, I have 2 beds in here at the moment since we have a guest over for 2 months.

This stupid desk will be replaced soon.

replaced by a white desk? lol

Actually yes. O.o I will be getting the FREDRIK in white/silver. (Use the drop down box.)

Looks like your mouse came to a skidding stop.

PC gaming. Serious business.

We still both have that same coaster. :p

Note to self: Upgrade the coaster. Preferable to a white one. ;p

thats cool...

is that your chair with all the cracks in it?

How many more obvious questions are you going to ask?

Edit: Here, I made a little infographic to help with any further questions.

hahaha...what is that thing are your stuff is placed on? Is it a table or a piece of wood?

Really lazy job of taking the pictures and stitching them together all around, but I just wanted to get it up.

After still having boxes in it from our move over 15 months later and finally setting it up two weeks ago now, here is where the magic happens, my home office...

Dirtys_Digital_Dungeon.jpg

What program do u use to stitch it up like that? I've always wondered how to do that because I want to do it too. Do you need to take your pics in a specific way too?

    • Same, price was right for my Home, laptop, phone. Works great!
    • Brave and Firefox. I’ve been using them as my primary browsers for a while now, perfect combo
    • They want Ring 0 access. Should be a hard no. A middle ground needs to be found.
    • WFP can be a bit buggy. I switched to the new SocketFilter when 7.22.7 came out. I haven't had any issues so far.
