Sam Symons Veteran Posted April 7, 2009 Veteran Share Posted April 7, 2009 I should probably add that my gamertag is my forum name, 'Sam Symons Live'. If anybody sees me online in Rock Band, please do invite me to a game; I love playing online but I can't stand doing it with random people, as they tend to leave if they don't like a song :p
MightyJordan
Oh, on a side note, what's everyone's FC count so far? For those of you that don't know what I'm on about, FC means "Full Combo", meaning that you hit every note/sung every phrase with an "Awesome" rating in the song without messing up. I was playing some more Vocals in RB2 yesterday, and I managed to FC "Souls of Black", "Battery", and after half an hour of restarts, "Shackler's Revenge"!!! :) I still can't FC "Chop Suey!" though. :( I should probably add that my gamertag is my forum name, 'Sam Symons Live'. JoeC
FC on guitar is about 3 songs , but I've really not been going for them. 1 on Drums, 1 on Bass for achievements plus about 5 more on bass without using upstrums-only. I have about 10 GHWT FCs, but I stopped caring about them with RBs gold stars as FCs don't show up any different :p
DR3AMxCATCHER
I own both games. I can do Bass on Hard/Expert depending on the song. Rock Band 2 is my perferred choice. I have the imported songs onto Rock Band 2 and a few DLC songs. Anyways, GT is = UND3RxOATH
3rdDin8
Oh, on a side note, what's everyone's FC count so far? Hmm... my playing style on the drums are a little inconsistent, sometimes I do well on a song getting 5* then on another day I might get 4 1/2* although I'm fairly confident that I can FC all 0-2 difficulty songs and get 95%+ on majority of songs (except the 2 I mentioned earlier). If anyone wants a game, message me in advance.

gigapixels Veteran Posted May 30, 2009 Veteran Share Posted May 30, 2009 I just got some new drums! I thought I'd posted about it, but I guess not: my last drums cracked so much that I tried to repair it but ended up screwing up the sensor for the yellow pad... Well I just got a brand new set of RB2 drums, so I'm back and ready to play.

Sam Symons Veteran Posted May 30, 2009 Veteran Share Posted May 30, 2009 I should take a photo of my poor Rock Band drum sticks... they're literally wearing away. It's worth it though.

Smashing Pumpkin
Just bought Rock band 2, used. On the off chance that the previous owner didn't use the 20 Free DLC code, where do I find it. I have looked on the back of the manual and I can't find it. There's the code that will unlock songs for play on the RB1 disc, but I can't find the 16 digit code for 20 Free DLC. JoeC
That IS the 20 free DLC code ;) You have to buy the license to export the RB1 songs to RB2.
Smashing Pumpkin
That IS the 20 free DLC code ;) You have to buy the license to export the RB1 songs to RB2. I know you have to buy the licence to transfer songs. As I said before, there's a 25 digit code on the back of the manual, and only space for 16 digits on the website ;) Rock Band Bonus Tracks Registration
MightyJordan
As I said before, there's a 25 digit code on the back of the manual, and only space for 16 digits on the website[/url] No, you enter that code in the Xbox Live Marketplace. :p
Smashing Pumpkin
oooooooooh. riiiiiiiiight. It's just that I was under the impression you had to register your copy of the game on RB website to recieve the XBL code, and that the code on he back of the manual was in fact for, moving songs from RB2 to RB1 - dunno why you'd want to do that in retrospect. Thanks MJ (Y) It happens so often on this site that you ask an innocent question and people just rip the **** out of you for not knowing something. It's terrible. oh and by the way you can add me to having both games now, since I will be transferring most of RB1 songs to RB2 soon and selling RB1. :blushing: I can only play guitar on Hard though...
