Ojushminald
How can I remove the watermark in 7077? Tried a 7000 Watermark (i think it was 7000) remover and it didnt work, Google doesn't provide anything helpful either. Thanks :) The best and easiest solution seems to be... cropping :) You can try to do it with VisiCrop, for example. Err, no, the watermark is not embedded into the wallpaper, it is static text that's hard coded into the desktop.

Eric Veteran Posted May 6, 2009 Veteran Share Posted May 6, 2009 It's called customization, you should take a look at it. If i don't want a watermark ruining my wallpaper which is supposed to be seamless and textless, I'll get rid of it, that simple.I don't know anything about messing up activation or whatever, that's NEVER happened to me. If you really just want to show off the fact that you have the latest beta version of 7, just go Start> type winver. Done. [sarcasm] Heaven forbid that we as users want our desktop to show up the way want it to. After all, it's not like we've been doing that for the better part of 10 years now, tweaking and customization. [/sarcasm] It's a test version of Windows. You really have no license to modify it. The only way to remove the watermark is by modifying system files, which will inhibit your ability to test and may compromise your computer's security.
