I been using flash for a while now and have completed a number of different design projects using it. I would say I have a pretty rounded understanding of it although my actionscript aint all that hot :)
One thing that has bothered me tho is getting smooth animation, I appreciate that a high frame rate gives smooth animation and that using tweens at a high fps can give good results, however I dont seem to be able to achieve the effect I want.
http://www.realityslip.com/rs.htm is an example, the fades and fades between different colours are extremely smooth and they work to keep a very soft interface. I have never been able to acheive that type of effect and was wondering is it actionscript based fading or perhaps I am missing something using tweens.
