Recommended Posts

ok i installed it after it finished downloading .. but no inet connection .. well its there just wont let me connect ... my netadmin can get a response and a ping, but i cant connect to anything ... so i did a restore, and everything is fine .. any idea ?

don't konw if anybody has the same problem as i do, but it seems to me that HyperThreading is not working on my system. When I boot it clearly stas it's 3.2ghz...but when I boot into windows it says 1.6 And when I looked at the SiSoftware Sandra CPU info it only shows 1 CPU instead of two. Anyone know if it's my system of if it's windows?

Perhaps a quick bios update is in order. I updated mine and HT is supported.

ARGGGGGGG,

Ok this bug is gonna anoy the hell outa me, when ever i try to download something with IE it won't save or open when the download window opens

I dont think thats a bug. Go to folder options, select the file types tab. Now select the type of file that it happens on, click on advanced and check confirm open after download. That should fix it :)

    • Well Statcounter doesn't count Edge users as Chrome. It uses the user agent and my understanding is the Brave browser users the standard Chrome user agent for privacy/tracking reasons and compatibility so that would help the Chrome numbers. Some Firefox users change the user agent for again compatibility reasons. I am going to totally guess the Chrome numbers are inflated some 5 or 6%.
