Island Dog
I'm not seeing any issues with ObjectDock on Win7. Any specific error messages would be helpful to determine if there is an issue. If you want to help organize your desktop, I would also recommend taking a look at Fences. http://www.stardock.com/products/fences/
Quillz
If i were to use the superbar as a dock, it would be way too messy. If you use a lot of programs, like myself, and use 20 or so programs that you installed, a dock program would be the way to go. Or I would just pin the 20+ applications that I use right onto the taskbar, which is its intent. No point to a crappy third-party Dock.

I wouldn't call them crappy. Object Dock and RocketDock both serve their purposes for XP and Vista. But yea, they are completely unnecessary in Win 7. My current taskbar (superbar) configuration:
PT 13
Stopped using a dock when I started using the superbar :) But yeah, Rocketdock is the best choice out there
briangw
you don't need a dock to use that just pin shortcuts to the superbar. Sorry, shortcuts from a network do not pin to the superbar. If anyone knows how to modify that action, please let me know.
