Missing posts

Recommended Posts

I tried adding a new program to the Freeware Alternative List, but they're not showing up.

The latest post that shows up is WinLAME. However, when you click Add Reply, and look at the last 10 posts, you'll see the program I tried to post.

I've opened the thread in a few different browsers and the same problem occurs, so I'm sure the problem isn't at my end.

[EDIT]

I think I found the problem. It's missing page 25. If you try this link, then the posts are visible.

I also double posted by accident. The connection timed out, and I checked the thread and the post wasn't visible, so I tried posting it again.

Sorry to bump this, but the problem hasn't been fixed yet. Can somebody just verify that they've noticed this and plan on fixing it? Thanks :)

Well, the double post has been fixed. The thread looks normal to me but due to page posts per page setting it only appears as page 15. Different people use different settings. I sometimes find that I need to start at the beginning of the thread and then find whatever content that I am looking for.

Sometimes when people who use 40 posts per page send me a link to a specific post then it doesn't correctly appear until I go looking for it. The only way that I know of to completely solve the problem is to set your view settings to 40 posts per page (the maximum).

I'm willing to get this is your problem considering the link shows #entry590866588 at the end. These are the types of links that don't always work directly for me (I think I use 20 or 25 posts per page). Most heavy users and most staffers seem to use 40 posts per page.

The problem has been fixed, not sure exactly when or by whom. I noticed yesterday that page 25 was visible, so I posted a few new programs.

I'm very sure the problem wasn't at my end. As I mentioned, I opened the thread in a few different browsers. I even opened the page in OperaTor to make sure it wasn't related to my IP address.

Thanks for fixing the double post though. :)
