Raa
Perhaps so, but being in AUS, I never played on non-Aus servers due to lag. But your point is a valid one all the same!
Yusuf M. Veteran Posted April 30, 2009 Veteran Share Posted April 30, 2009 Do you know how many people have purchased games, CDs/albums or movies and didn't like it after they purchased it? I had high hopes after being a Battlefield 2 addict but it was just too much. Ah, true. I have a couple of games that I barely play. I recently bought Battlefield 2142 and I'm loving it. It's so much better, and different, than Battlefield 2. By the way, there are way more servers too. I recently played in a server with my friends and I was pinging 24. That's the lowest I've ever seen in any Battlefield game.
BeeJAyP
So has anyone really tested the widescreen support of this patch? Is it just a simple addition of resolutions to the menu with the same horrible cropped fov from 1.4? Or is it a proper widescreen that finally removes the need for a 3rd party app to fix things? After testing it out last night it seems as though they just added the resolutions in, it looks the same as when you manually enter the resolution in the command line pre-1.5 patch. I haven't given the widescreen fixer a go though.
