A wall won't help, but I have a bad feeling about this. by wall, i meant they should stop the immigrants from coming in for right now. im not sure if it would help or not? but they need to contain this beast before it gets out of hand. I'm in the exact same situation; I also work in the medical field and it does have me really worried. i dunno but i know when and if this sucker hits where i live, i will be pulling my kid out of school. half of her class is Mexican. Bro viruses spread from person to person, it will go to every part of the globe in just few weeks if it indeed becomes a pandemic through airports, international railways etc, you can't stop a virus by building walls, and the fact it originating in Mexico does not mean Latinos are the ones with the most chances of infecting others, once it becomes a pandemic, ANYBODY can be a potential transmitter. Yeah, I have always paid attention who around me is sick and avoid them if I don't have reason to go near them...I am now SERIOUSLY watching people that are sick, if they seem sick, even a little cough, I go the other way. well if this thing gets out of hand as they predict, they will limit or restrict travel to other countries. In other words, the government in Mexico is doing all they can to stop this or at least control it, there are checkpoint in airports, theres no school until May 6th, and other actions that will stop the virus for becoming pandemic. You could spend your whole day disinfecting your envroment but you will still get sick. If your body does not build up immunites while you are young, if you get sick when you are older you are more likely going to die from something basic such as a common cold. It is unfortunate that people in Mexico are dying from this virus, but in the grand scope of things more people die worldwide from pneumonia and the standard flu variations. It isn't a big deal.
