On the main page, the text at the bottom of the left column is hard to read because of the gradient; maybe think about using something other than gradients to dress up your page. There is no scolling for needed for me on that page...could it be my high res? I jus realized that lowering my res to 1024 X 768 really changed the positioning and size of stuff...Do you know an average res that most people have?
