Sailorcancer
I'm a little confused about the release date. April 30th- MSDN/TechNet members May 5th- Public So if you have the beta and got it from MSDN/TechNet you can get it on the 30th. Or if you are a member Right? I am a member but is the April 30th date for developers and manufactuers? I remember last week they had it on their site to downoad but you had to have the developer/manufactuers membership to get it.
Kevin.
If you have a subscripton to MSDN or TechNet, you can download the RC on April 30th. Othewise, the general public can download it on May 5th.
Gio Takahashi
Like Kevin said, if you are a subscribe to Technet or MSDN, you'll be able to download the April 30th RC release date, otherwise, you'll just have to wait til May 5th for the public release. Sailorcancer
So as long as you can sign into the MSDN site you can get it on the 30th? Also just a fast question. I saw in other leaked releases that when you install you can pick which flavor of 7 you want. I though this was something that would come up during the installation but I read that you have to do some modifications to a file to get it. Is that true? Intriguingly enough, I saw no such option on the RC install, even though I didn't enter a key until after the install completed. If I had to guess, I'd say the key the user enters determines the feature level.

I just remember reading about that feature here I think last month.
